I regret that I am unable to join you in person due to existing Senate duties, but I want you to know that I commend you for your dedication and the efforts you have put forth in sharing the Chinese traditions with all Georgians and Americans.
The Chinese New Year is a vibrant celebration of family, culture, and heritage. Divine Performing Arts Chinese New Year Spectacular does an exceptional job of sharing the festivities and traditions with millions of people.
This beautiful display of diversity is important to fostering the multicultural understanding and appreciation that makes America the great country it is. Again, I commend you for sharing the Asian culture with such a widespread audience. Best wishes to each of you for a Happy New Year!
